The Uwharrie Learning Center’s mission is to provide individuals of all ages new ways of learning and integrative movements for the betterment of self, education, and community in order to promote independence.

Company Goals and Objectives:

• To assist clients in meeting local and state educational requirements.
• To give clients effective tools which promote self-empowerment and independence.
• To assist individuals in discovering their own unique strengths and abilities.
• To aide the community through local programs that give back while promoting the value of the individual to become an active citizen in his or her community.
• To enhance cognitive development of seniors and the aging; to facilitate stroke patients in recovering to their fullest potential.
• To increase the success rate in drug rehabilitation programs, community shelters, teen probation programs, transitional services for veterans and various government programs.
